Telework
The Laborer, Fuels duties will include supporting the Foreman and other site supervisors with tasks required to complete all project site work at the assigned location.
Responsibilities
- Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.
- Must wear and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, hardhat, etc.
- Participation in Quality Control and Safety Program.
- Perform daily checks on company-provided equipment and vehicles.
- Support other on-site crew members in fueling system maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
- Operation of typical construction site tools and equipment.
- Maintenance of construction tools and equipment.
- Working in confined spaces, as required.
- Perform debris clean up.
- Will be required to travel up to 85% of the time throughout various sites in TX, AR, LA and OK.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a heavy/industrial construction laborer
- Possess a valid State Driver’s License and deemed insurable under company policy.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to travel up to 85% of time throughout various sites in TX, AR, LA and OK
- Ability to complete OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Course of equivalent basic orientation and safety training
- Ability to read, write and receive written and/or verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to complete Confined space entry training
- Ability to be trained/certified to operate specialized construction equipment.
- Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions.
- Ability to be punctual and possess the patience to work under stressful conditions.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
