CNI’s Security Officers are responsible for providing uniformed presence at the facility to maintain a safe environment, protective service work such as, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to the Hospital by employees and visitors.
**This position is offering a $1,000 sign on bonus after successful completion of 90 calendar days with no write ups!**
Responsibilities
- Perform routine rounds throughout the grounds to deter any unruly or malicious activity.
- Enforce the No Smoking Policy on the grounds.
- Enforce the Mask Policy for visitors in the hospital as applicable.
- Respond to Code Brown (Security/Facility Disturbance), assist through disposition of the case.
- Provide written briefs/reports for security surveillance rounding and codes.
- Participate in code drills at the facility.
- Provide uniformed presence at the facility to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to routine inquiries and provide information to assist patients, visitors and staff navigate the building and grounds.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must maintain and possess current CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) certification.
- Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material.
- Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
- Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual’s reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of current issues, trends, laws, regulations, and technologies
- Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Ability to use various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
