Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst Senior who will join a team of smart, creative, and initiative-taking employees who take pride in their work and the mission and enjoy developing, sustaining, and delivering world-class solutions. This individual will work in a dynamic environment, participate in the World’s Premier Gateway to Space, and coordinate and communicate with many different work centers and managers to determine task priorities and appropriate resources to realize the maximum value of available range operational time on a weekly basis and meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- In an Enterprise Maintenance Control Center (MxCC) environment, provide centralized control of all range maintenance activities and manage the high volume of information that must be interpreted, processed, and broadcast throughout the launch community.
- Provide range status, coordinate maintenance responses, resolve competing or conflicting efforts, maximize available range time slots, and provide nuanced quality information with discretion, reliability, and unified messaging.
- Coordinate and communicate with many different work centers and managers to determine task priorities and appropriate resources to realize the maximum value of available range operational time on a daily and weekly basis. Meet organization goals.
- Prepare and provide progress reports, status reports, and briefings as required.
- Design, develop, and perform critical assessments of maintenance processes and procedures. Make recommendations for continuous process improvements.
- Manage various Operations & Maintenance (O&M) projects and perform qualitative and quantitative maintenance data analyses.
- Investigate and resolve support issues beyond site capabilities that delay or impair a site's ability to conduct normal day-to-day support activities.
- Research, analyze, and report on emerging negative trends to help coordinate corrective actions to ensure continued mission support capabilities.
- Respond to customers and provide superior customer support.
- Manage a Blue Tag program, assist with Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) data collection and analysis, Electro-Statis Discharge (ESD) program, corrosion control program, and range scheduling coordination.
- Manage system-level, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)-level, and component-level maintenance response to Range assets. Initiate Field Change Requests (FCRs), ECPMs, Unscheduled Depot Level Maintenance (UDLM) support, and Emergency Depot Level Maintenance (EDLM) support during launch countdowns.
- Evaluate junior team members' reporting products to ensure accuracy and compliance with company quality standards.
- Use data collection systems and data analytics that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Assist with coordinating range access for maintenance, engineering, and subcontractors with the Resources Scheduling Office; contribute to effective manpower and equipment use and timely support of priority task assignments. Assist with conflict resolution for maintenance operations.
- Analyze maintenance trends and impacts on operational commitments.
- Provide MxCC launch support as directed by MxCC management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, science, math, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience in a technical discipline, maintenance control, resource management, business, education, or range maintenance experience and/or operations
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience developing and implementing work processes and efficiencies
- Range experience with maintenance procedures that regulate site processes for management of maintenance, safety, logistics, and technical data security is preferred.
- Understanding of the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), its relationship to preventive and corrective maintenance, and the computation and production of “Reliability, Maintainability, Availability” (RMA) data is preferred.
- Understanding of the Range launch requirements, range scheduling, maintenance planning, engineering activities, and operations activities and their interrelationships is preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Occasional travel to instrumentation sites on Vandenberg AFB and Pillar Point AFS
- Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or state-issued ID
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work professionally and independently with minimal oversight in a highly fluid environment, within a team, and with other groups or customers
- Strong degree of professionalism, excellent organization skills, and the ability to work multiple tasks concurrently and switch between tasks quickly
- Flexible and able to adapt to changes in priorities in a dynamic working environment and schedule to updated priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and ability to exercise diplomacy within a team environment; clear and coherent writing ability
- Ability to organize and lead meetings, communicate clearly with oral and written presentations, correspondence, and reports
- Ability to communicate technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences preferred.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
