Job Description

Summary

CHENEGA HEALTHCARE SERVICES, LLC

Ft Irwin, CA

 

The Maintenance Supervisor shall be responsible for providing Fort Irwin tenant organizations with vehicle operations and consolidated maintenance support of Government owned and leased vehicles and equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls all shop operations within the maintenance section of the Ft. Irwin contract.
  • Responsible for all contract deliverables, reporting requirements, and ensuring all personnel complete all work in accordance with the Safety, Environmental, and Operational rules and regulations of the contract.
  • Responsible for the state of all facilities and equipment used in support of the contract.
  • Reviews and approves timesheets
  • Monitors employees’ work levels and review work performance.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports to the customer and Project Manager.
  • Recommends or initiates personnel actions
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of specialized experience management of Department of Defense (DoD) Material Maintenance programs or operations encompassing the following:
    • Planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling maintenance operations.
    • Technological developments, particularly in equipment, facilities, safety, and other features.
    • Applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning operations and programs, and proposed solutions.
    • Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Ability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within the available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
  • Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
  • Possess excellent skills in verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to train others

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Estimated Salary/Wage

Up to USD $85,488.00/Yr.
