Job Description

Summary

The hourly pay rate is $25.60.

 

Our wide range of benefit options is designed to support and protect employees and their families. Based on eligibility, benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription plans, wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement. Positions covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act, Davis-Bacon Act, or a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) will comply with the statute or CBA requirements.


Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Protect Government Property:Guard buildings, equipment, and materials, and control access for employees, visitors, and residents.
  • Emergency Response:Respond to emergencies, enforce regulations, and manage crowd, parking, and traffic control.
  • Professional Interaction:Escort and interact with public and government personnel, and greet employees, VIPs, and the general public with professionalism.
  • Stay Composed:Maintain poise and self-control under stress, and assist emergency personnel as needed.
  • Report Writing:Construct clear, concise, and detailed reports in English.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Education:High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience:Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred
  • Skills:Strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills. Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
  • Requirements:Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid state driver’s license, and have no history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture in the past five years.
  • Federal Compliance: In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.  
  • Additional Requirements: Successfully complete all training and obtain all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site.
