Chenega Corporation is looking for a dedicated and skilled Security Generalist III to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
This position is contingent upon contract award and not currently funded.
Responsibilities
What You'll Get To Do:
- Conduct monthly travel both OCONUS and CONUS to perform routine preventive maintenance on physical DoD compliant security locks.
- Integrate security locks with local access control and badging systems.
- Ensure all security measures are up to date and compliant with DoD standards.
- Collaborate with local teams to maintain and enhance security protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any security or law enforcement field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the security field or military for general security planning and execution functions and with Locksmith experience for DoD GSA high security locks and hardware.
- Certified in a GSA compliant locksmith course.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with DoD compliant security locks and access control systems
- Willingness to travel monthly both OCONUS and CONUS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
