Job Description

Summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Ultrasound/Echo Technologist to provide services to beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service at the Claremore Indian Hospital. The Ultrasound/Echo Technologist shall deliver quality care to attain positive health outcomes for all our valued patients with emphasis on cultural sensitivity and human dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general sonography (including small parts), obstetrical, breast and gynecological sonography, and cardiovascular sonography.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all ultrasound exams. Technically responsible for the accuracy and quality of all exams and procedures performed in the radiology department.
  • Exercise extreme care, tact and patience in positioning ill and injured patients. Utilize two (2) patient identifiers before beginning an exam. Utilize proper technical factors when operating equipment to provide a quality image for proper diagnosis.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current licensure/registration with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the equivalent with training or be registry eligible.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Available to work the following schedule:
    • Monday: 9:30am-6pm
    • Tuesday: 9:30am-6pm
    • Saturday: 8am-4:30pm 
    • Sunday: 8am-4:30pm  
    • Additional days/coverage needs may be available based on scheduling (vacation coverage, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of all ultrasound exams. Technically responsible for the accuracy and quality of all exams and procedures performed in the ultrasound department.

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $30.07/Hr.
