Job Description

Summary

CHENEGA INDUSTRIAL GROUP, LLC

Telework

 

The Laborer, Fuels duties will include supporting the Foreman and other site supervisors with tasks required to complete all project site work at the assigned location.


Responsibilities

  • Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.
  • Must wear and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, hardhat, etc.
  • Participation in Quality Control and Safety Program.
  • Perform daily checks on company-provided equipment and vehicles.
  • Support other on-site crew members in fueling system maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
  • Operation of typical construction site tools and equipment.
  • Maintenance of construction tools and equipment.
  • Working in confined spaces, as required.
  • Perform debris clean up.
  • Will be required to travel up to 85% of the time throughout various sites in TX, AR, LA and OK.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a heavy/industrial construction laborer
  • Possess a valid State Driver’s License and deemed insurable under company policy.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to travel up to 85% of time throughout various sites in TX, AR, LA and OK
  • Ability to complete OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Course of equivalent basic orientation and safety training
  • Ability to read, write and receive written and/or verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to complete Confined space entry training
  • Ability to be trained/certified to operate specialized construction equipment.
  • Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions.
  • Ability to be punctual and possess the patience to work under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
