Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect with extensive experience supporting large agency-level enterprise IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to our customer's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), providing expert guidance on leading-edge technologies, best practices, and transformational initiatives across the enterprise IT landscape. This position will require the candidate to work in Washington D.C. up to 5 days a week, though it is considered "hybrid."

Responsibilities
- Partner with senior officials and deputy personnel to develop and implement comprehensive enterprise IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions that leverage modern technologies and methodologies
- Lead technical governance initiatives to ensure alignment, standardization, and optimization across the enterprise
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Develop reference architectures and technical roadmaps to guide the organization's digital transformation journey
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology solutions to address complex business challenges
- Mentor and guide technical teams in the implementation of enterprise solutions
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across the enterprise IT portfolio
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- 15-20 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT architecture and solutions design
- Demonstrated experience advising C-level executives and senior government officials
- Comprehensive knowledge across multiple domains:
- Enterprise IT Governance and Strategy
- Cybersecurity and Zero Trust Architecture
- Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Enterprise Networking and Infrastructure
- Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP)
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of federal IT policies, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working with federal agencies or large public sector organizations preferred
- Preferred Relevant certifications (TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP, CISSP, ITIL, PMP)
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools preferred
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as quantum computing, blockchain, or edge computing preferred
- Experience with IT portfolio management and capital planning preferred
- Background in enterprise architecture frameworks (FEAF, DoDAF, etc.) preferred
