Job Description

Summary

The Project Manager (PM) oversees the contract administration. Responsible for managing the Department of Defense Guard Force Services Contract, the PM ensures compliance with Federal, DoD regulations, policies, directives, and industry standards. The PM will ensure adequate staffing for all shifts and notify the COR in writing of any personnel relieved of duty to update access lists. The PM shall achieve project goals, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction within set timelines and budget.

 

This position is contingent upon contract award


Responsibilities

  • Exercise complete authority to act for the Contractor during the term of the contract.
  • Exercise authority to accept correspondence on behalf of the Contractor.
  • Plan work schedules, train personnel, and be available twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week to handle emergencies, participate in conference calls with CNRMA Regional Operations, and address other issues that may arise.
  • Implement the Contractor’s quality control plan and ensure that the Contractor’s workforce complies with the contract requirements.
  • Oversee quality control of contract deliverables.
  • Make hiring and firing decisions.
  • Be flexible, assertive, approachable, and have the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Handle stressful situations, delegate tasks effectively, and consolidate team member ideas.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate security administration and project control.
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure budget targets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Provide coordinated communications with the customer and other on-site contractors regarding security operations.
  • Prepare reports and submit them to the Government.
  • Oversee and directly or indirectly supervise up to 125 individuals/positions providing contract services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing a workforce of similar size and complexity.
  • Experience overseeing and directly supervising at least 125 personnel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in certified law enforcement, commercial/industrial security, or a combination of both, with experience as a Program Manager.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of comparable size, scope, and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, directing, and managing projects.
