Job Description

Summary

CHENEGA FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, LLC

Ft Sill, OK

 

The Driver, Tractor Trailer TMP works under the direct supervision of the Transportation Motor Pool Supervisor (TMP).  Operates heavy truck (over 5 tons) towing trailers having several sets of wheels at the rear only, with the forward portion being supported by the truck tractor or towing vehicle.


Responsibilities

  • Load and unload passengers with individual equipment (to include weapons).
  • Responsible for the operation of government and/or military vehicles.
  • Operator and preventive maintenance of vehicles.
  • Assure that fluid levels are full at all times.
  • Ensure vehicle is operated in a safe and professional manner.
  • Perform customer support functions
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Possess Class A commercial driver’s license
  • Possess  a Passenger endorsement
  • Possess a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass a background investigation check
  • Ability to maintain a count of passengers and direct them to available seating.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, to include climbing in and out of the Semi Tractor.
