Job Description

Summary

Are you a skilled Electronics Technician with a passion for innovation and excellence? Chenega is looking for a talented Sr. Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team and help us push the boundaries of technology.

 

This position is contingent upon contract award


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems and components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and testing on electronic equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and implement new electronic solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical related field or equivalent related experience.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, and wiring of electrical/electronic equipment is required.
  • Must be able to pass a government background investigation.
  • Requires knowledge of basic and advanced electrical and electronic principles .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of OSHA general safety standards.
  • Knowledge of the proper care and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be willing to travel up to 90%.
